What is the Statement from Insuree’s Electronic Account (EUP)?

The Social Insurance Agency informs you about your pension insurance through the Statement from the EUP. In addition, you can also choose an overview of sickness insurance for the last 5 years and unemployment insurance for the last seven years.

For a full overview of the information, we recommend that you activate the Insuree’s Electronic Account (in Slovak Elektronický účet poistenca - EUP), which you have set up automatically and its use is free of charge. It is enough if you activate access to it either in person at a branch or without visiting a branch, via the portal slovensko.sk using an electronic identity card. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: After the change in the law from 1 January 2024, the obligation of the Social Insurance Agency to maintain an Individual Account of the Insuree was changed and replaced by the obligation to maintain the Insuree’s Electronic Account. 

How do I request a Statement from the EUP?

You do not need to request a statement from the EUP if you simply set up access to the Insuree’s Electronic Account - see the section What will I need to establish the Insuree’s Electronic Account (EUP)?

If you want to apply, you can do so in person, in writing or electronically:

You can request the Statement EUP to be sent once a year. Send the application for the period of the previous calendar year no later than April 30 of the calendar year.
