Registering an employee when eServices are unavailable

In the event of the unavailability of the Social Insurance Agency’s electronic services (eServices (SK)), the employer may register or deregister employees by means of pre-registration/deregistration of employees.

The employer may PRE-REGISTER an employee with the mobile app, by email, fax or SMS.

We recommend using the mobile application. It offers the advantage of a fast and efficient way to send structured data, then linking it with the relevant Natural Person Registration Form (NPRF), immediate feedback and data validation, as well as history with the possibility of proving an employee’s registration during checks for illegal work. More information about the mobile application can be found on the portal eServices (SK).

When using email, the employer completes the Employee registration and deregistration by e-mail or fax (SK) form and sends it as an attachment to hlasenie@socpoist.sk (or by fax to +421 906 171 865 or +421 906 171 723). In the event of a higher number of employees, the employer will use the next page. The form is used either only for registration or only for deregistration of an employee.

When using an SMS message, the employer should send the message to the phone numbers 0918 492 266 or 0918 492 277. In the message, they state whether registration or deregistration is involved, the birth number, name and surname of the employee, the type of insurance, the date of its creation and the EIDN (employer identification number).

If the insurance has not come into being (contract withdrawal), the employer submits a Natural Person Registration Form – Deregistration.

The data sent during the pre-registration/deregistration of employees must always be confirmed to the Social Insurance Agency within 3 days at the latest by sending a completed Natural Person Registration Form to the Social Insurance Agency via eServices (SK).
