When should I suspend an employee’s insurance and how do I do it?
How do I suspend an employee’s insurance?
Do not forget that if you want to suspend insurance, you must do so within eight days after the date when the reason for suspension arises.
- Log into eServices.
- Select Natural Person Registration Form – Suspension.
- Go to Section 7.
- Indicate the date and reason for suspension. Use the numerical codes that you will find in the NPRF instructions.
What should I do when the insurance suspension ends?
It is necessary to notify the Social Insurance Agency within eight days after the insurance suspension ends (except for electronic IW. Follow the same procedure as for suspension of insurance. In section 7 of the NPRF, indicate the date of commencement and termination of the suspension and the reason for suspension.
Insurance may not be suspended for only part of the working day (e.g. only for a few hours). If you notify the Social Insurance Agency of a suspension of insurance, this will always apply to the whole working day.
If you know the start day and the end day of the suspension, it is sufficient to send a single Natural Person Registration Form stating the beginning, reason and end of the suspension.
